Rated 4 out of 5 by from Time & Money Saver I find that using Turbo Tax is a convenient and cost-saving way to file my tax returns -- both Federal and State. In the past I completed my own returns and it would take an entire day or weekend, but using the Turbo Tax software I'm able to get both returns completed w/in 2 hours. Plus they maintain a record of the previous return and allow users to download their return, if they choose. I think this is one of the best services if you have to pay, but I stick to the basic offer and not Max, and I did not choose to talk to a Live Agent for extra assistance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick and Easy to File I liked my experience with Turbo Tax, have use this in the past, and find it relatively easy to use. I liked the format of Turbo Tax better a few years ago. At that time, it gave a scaled rating at the end about whether the tax return would go through easily (green) or be subject to IRS review (red). Lastly, I did appreciate the hoops that this year's program made me jump through to prove my identity as this shows Turbo Tax is trying to deter identity thieves. Overall, I would say that Turbo Tax is a good tax program to use for the money.
