Rated 3 out of 5 by from No real improvement The software is same as it was in last two years. Still can't get two factor authentication done for me. It never sends me text msg with pin. I'm sure it works for others but hasn't worked for me in last two filing. I have to go through series of questions for id. Usability is ok but no real improvement in walkthrough. It is still pretty slow. It has bugs that are still not fixed. Invest in your software.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from extra fees for states and using credit card etc et difficult to check if capital loss carryovers were applied correctly extra fees to efile, or pay with credit card, or file in multiple states. should be disallowed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is so EASY! I've used turbotax in the previous years except last year (FreeTaxUSA). They tried charging me $14.99 to file CA state return!! I was not about to do that so I signed into my turbotax account and was able to file both for FREE! Plus the website is very user friendly, all the helpful tips and colorful animations makes it a great experience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average. I engaged TurboTax Community Group for help with regard to closing my wife's daycare business and recapturing depreciation. The advice given prompted me to upgrade to Turbo Tax Home & Business from Deluxe. (The upgrade was a waste of money.) The help that I received was fair. Turbo Tax did not help me with the depreciation recapture on mileage for a car that was converted to 100% personal use. I also identified a MAJOR ERROR on the Car & Truck Expenses Worksheet line 19 that states the mileage rate of .58 (it's .56) for 2021. However, the calculation was correct. I had to figure recapture of past listed asset items on my own. TurboTax should be able to handle these calculations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Run Waiting to see if my 2nd attempt to file is accepted, if it is rejected again, I expect a full refund of what I paid for the software as I will have to print the forms and mail them in. When asked for the AGI from my 2020 taxes, it was entered in as it was on the form, the software rounded it up and would not allow me to change it back to what was correct. This resulted in the first attempt to file as being rejected. My first time using turbo tax will most likely be my last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax Is Convenient! Turbotax is a convenient service that prevented me from filing my taxes late. After I went through the initial process, TurboTax paired me with a representative that was able to work around my 9-6 work schedule. Not to mention that the service required but two phone calls for the representative to gather the necessary details to file my taxes. Overall, it's a great product if you don't have an accountant on hand.
