Rated 3 out of 5 by from I've been saying for years; it needs this: TT needs the ability to put a supporting detail on ANY entry box anywhere in the program! How many time have you seen that last year you put $72 in this box, but rack your brain, you can't remember what it was. Secondly, when there's a form change or a change in the format of a form or the IRS wants to see it displayed differently, TT should tell us. Ex: last year showed $5436 in property taxes paid, this year it only showed $1060 of property taxes paid, even though I put in the same rough amount as last year! Yes it's a rental property and yes TT broke out the amount while calculating the % of split, but come on! it's alarming to see " last year your prop taxes were $5436 and this year they're $1060". Well that will send you into a mild panic wondering if you inputted the wrong amount last year or if TT's broken this year or what. So...TT, if the IRS wants to see something displayed differently than last year, fine, but add a note saying " Hey, this amount is very different from last year due to the way......."

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many unexpected payments, deceitful practice They start by saying it costs 60 dollars without mentioning that is only for the federal tax and each state is 50 dollars extra. Then on top of that they charged 40 dollars at the very end for paying with my tax return. So after you sink 2 hours into filling out all the forms you find out you are being charged triple the advertised price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for military families More senior military families will often have multistate investments, and TurboTax has the ability to reconcile that. Been using it for over ten years and it does a great job at helping us sort out properties and businesses in different states.
