Rated 3 out of 5 by from One glitch, otherwise great! I use Turbo Tax every year as it is the easiest and most informative way to file taxes! However this year, the system had a very stubborn glitch on the Charitable Cares Act deduction. I completed my taxes using the Standard Deduction. I kept inserting the amount I gave to charity in the year of 2020, and no number at all was acceptable. Even when I left the amount blank, my taxes did not pass the review, as I kept getting a message that the value I entered exceeded the required amount (even though it was less than $300). When i went back to the Charitable Cares act page, a value would always autopopulate (from last year i think), so when I just left this value in the box (and did not click the box at all), then i could proceed to file the remainder of my taxes without a hard stop. I'm definitely not an expert on taxes but it would be greatly appreciated if this glitch was fixed OR more information was added on the page regarding why it might exist! Nevertheless, Turbo Tax remains my preferred online Tax filing resource!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax 2020 Simplified I have been utilizing TurboTax for over 25 years and it is a great product, it walks you through the steps and it is easy to understand the format. As long as you have your documents in hand and are organized, you should be able to breeze through it. The main thing is being organized and carefully read the advise provided throughout the system. I like the fact that they have a search box, forum and tax pro's available to assist.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hidden fees are annoying All commercials you see regarding turbotax say its 100% free, yet I am paying ~$150. I want more clarity on why I have to pay for the $90 version, then have to pay another $50 for state returns.
