Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax should provide program update details TurboTax provides program updates which implement tax law changes and fix bugs. When a program update increases your tax owed amount, you might be curious to know what caused the change. Was the bug in the previous version or now in the new version? Unfortunately, TT doesn't provide details to what was changed so depending on how complicated your return is, a manual review of every input is needed. This is time consuming and could be avoided if TT would just tell us what part of the program was updated. With all the late changes by congress this year, this was painful for me. However, otherwise TT did a great job!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo tax was useful I am not sure I will use turbo tax again. For the amount of money they charge, I could have used a live person. I wanted to online chat with someone to make sure I was doing everything right, but they would've charged an additional $100. I think that is an unreasonable amount seeing as how I already signed up to pay $250.00.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I really like Turbo Tax. Had one little problem this year. I got a $3K 1099-misc from a friend who owns a small (1 person) business. I assisted him for 2 weeks with some electronic wiring and equipment setup. TTAX wanted me to like setup a company and fill out a Schedule C, to claim my business expenses. I had none. Used his equipment, supplies, rode in his vehicle. I finally called your help number and spoke with a wonderful young lady in GA. She helped me side-step the Schedule C and all is well. You need to program in a "Schedule C Bypass" when no expenses are incurred. Luv u guys!
