Rated 3 out of 5 by from Limited K-1 Capability for Combined K-1s TurboTax handles most simple tax returns. Two areas of improvement would be helpful. First I get a K-l from a limited partnership that has both business and rental income. TurboTax cannot take this input but requires you to create a separate K-1 for business and a second K-1 for rental income. This is nearly impossible since you have to guess at which items on the partnership K-1 go into the different K-1s. TurboTax should develop the capability to handle combined K-1s. Second, once you make an input, it is sometimes extremely difficult or impossible to go back and make a change. For example, when ask if I had an IP PIN, I entered the number in the box provided and then found out that it put it under mine name and not my wife's. It didn't give me the choice. When I filed, of course my return was rejected because the IP PIN was under the wrong name. I could not find a way to go back in the program and change this to my wife's box and I couldn't over write it on the form. So I had to do a search for IP PIN and that finally allowed me to "jump" back into the right place in the program to move the IP PIN to my wife's box. Shouldn't be that hard. Similar problems occur in other areas.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Resolution Issues The requirement to change display resolutions on the desktop version for each section of the process back and forth between 800x600 and max resolution is ridiculous. It takes 5 time as long to download and file because of this issue. Your tech support has no idea how to help or take payment for State filing fees over the phone
