Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why use an expensive CPA If you use a CPA, they will ask you the same questions Turbo Tax asks you and then they will put the answers into their software and charge you a lot more for a fancy print out. Use Turbotax

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sucks on IL State Taxes Could not access to IL Form ICR even though real estate taxes itemized on federal return. Kept getting errors and could not back into it. At least, I could print for easier filing with state. Waste of the extra $ 10

Rated 3 out of 5 by from so-so I was a little disappointed in the software this year as it offered upgrades often and charged an extra $39 to pay the filing fees with my return. When I tried to remove the additional charge and pay upfront it was very difficult to figure out how to do it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was Great! I've heard of Turbo Tax for many years and was always hesitant to use it. Too complicated. Too time consuming. Fear of getting it wrong and being audited. I was running short on time, so I decided to give it a try. Turbo Tax offered help from a tax expert to review our return, so I figured if I got stuck I would have some help. What I really liked was how easy it was to go through. The website is super easy to read and manage. Turbo tax provided explanations for every field that needed to be filled. It took a few nights and several hours to get through, but I never got to a point of being overwhelmed or stuck. I always felt like I was making progress. Overall it was a great experience and will be doing my own taxes going forward!
