Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tricksum Two little things. For some reason TurboTax can't bridge all of my previous year data to this year. So I have to manually enter all my data. I think it has to do with Download vs Online. This has happened every year and I have been using TT for at least 15 years. Charges, you have to read very carefully to not incur extra charges that are not needed. My girlfriend did not see the extra 45 dollars she was charged when finishing her E-file. I use TT because the "guide" is much easier than deciphering the actual tax form. That is why I keep returning to them every year. Several years ago my then Wife had a Tax accountant. He would give us a list for forms and statements to bring and charge us quite a bit. TurboTax does the same thing at home for a lot less and most anyone can use the software. A problem with the software is, just getting it started. I bought the CD/Download version at Costco and had a frustrating time finding how to access it. The instructions did not work at all. Kept sending me to the online version which of course wanted to charge me again.
