Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible for First Time Home Buyer It took me three hours to file, since it kept flagging me for not filling out my previous house information, when I just bought my first home! I lived with my parents before, and shouldn't have to fill any of that out. It also kept asking me to fill out a Child Earned Tax Credit, and I already checked that I don't have any dependents. I filled out more than I have ever had to in previous years, since it kept flagging errors. Then, when I would go back to fix the errors, there were none on my part. This is absolutely horrible for a first time home buyer. There should be an option for first time home buyers, and they shouldn't have to deal with countless errors, and questions that don't have anything to do with their earnings or current residence.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from military friendly and easy to file Love the TurboTax a lot, why? I always go to a tax preparer and not all the deductions I am trying to deduct is not being captured. So, I started to use this and most of it are getting maximize for me to get a refund. Also, free for military personnel. I am learning at the same time how to do my own taxes without being fooled from another preparer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy to use I went to HR block one year and they charged me 5x what I pay to do it myself on TurboTax. Same questions, easy step by step, makes sure you don't make a mistake.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very expensive, difficult to use and last time For the amount of money they charged me, mind you full price. It was not worth any of it. The work to understand the tax laws and other breaks was very hard and I am sure that I ended up paying more taxes than I should. I will not be using turbotax ever again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Complicated As always Turbotax had all its capturing from last year's report, downloading charity information from Itsdeductible and the systematic progression through the process that I love. But there were some parts where explanations were not clear, and the problem from the same glitch as last year when trying to transfer Itsdeductible info onto my Mac required quite the journey into tech issues to get it to respond correctly. As it was all coming together I was presented with an "error" in "Schedule 8812" needing a response for something that didn't even relate to me. I responded with a 0 but it wasn't accepted until I did it a second time. I have been grateful for Turbotax for decades, but it was a disappointing journey this year.
