I waited til the day before to get it done, I started last night and got most of it done, but decided to finish this morning, I whizzed through it today. It wasn't going so well last night and when I decided to finish today, it was easy to pull up the form and continue where I left off. The instructions were well-detailed, and I felt they were complete. I think that the search for credits was great. I learned a lot just by finding out about some of them. I am completely happy with my tax preparation.

If you have a simple tax return, you can file for free yourself with TurboTax Free Edition, or you can file with TurboTax Live Assisted Basic or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic at the listed price.

A simple tax return is one that's filed using IRS Form 1040 only, without having to attach any forms or schedules. Only certain taxpayers are eligible.
