However... every time you logon you're prompted to upgrade to the next tier product for more $$$. Then you try to file..oh want to file state as well? That's an extra $45. Oh...want to pay with a credit card? That's an extra 2.49%. Nickel and diming every step of the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Turbo Tax Experience I've used Turbo Tax for over a decade. Not once in that time did I have a problem. This year, after starting my 2021 returns, (my OS is Windows 10), I saved my files. The next day, I tried to open Turbo Tax again, but ran into a dialog that said the program was running under another account: it would not continue. Long story short, I installed a copy of my OS and ran the program again. After it had some issue with connecting to my internet connection (which was operating just fine), I succeeded in opening my 2021 return. I had no more trouble with the program. I am the only user of my computer and there should be no other accounts. I do have two login logos on my login screen (both with my name) if that might be the cause of the problem.
