Over the years I've had rental properties, children doing serious sports, and investments in stocks and LLP's. I've always been happy that TurboTax knew how to handle all these things. And, whenever I've had a problem the support people always provided the solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TurboTax is easy to use I am overall very happy - my complicated taxes were able to be handled with ease. Much of my income was while in a combat zone and some not taxable. TurboTax helped me get a good federal refund. Unfortunately, I was charged to file my return despite being active duty military. I asked the chat box and was given no solution to this. Hopefully this will be made easier in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not too bad, easy except one thing... I needed to enter 2 package/document IDs and it only let me enter one. I decided to clear and start over and could still never get back to enter either the original package/document id let alone a second, so it made it worse. Talked to 2 friendly support personnel but still unable to fix the issue.

The questions and calculations are still good, but they seem to lacking the programming to make it the great program it used to be. It was far from easy this year to e-file through the program. I looked at the forum and found that I had to do a workaround by running as administrator to enter payment to e-file my state taxes. By running as administrator, I also had to reenter the license code to get back in. I should not have to do a workaround. According to forums, this has been a problem for at least 2 years now. Person after person has posted and it appears that the bug has not been fixed. Please fix this. I don't want to pay for a program that only "almost works."
