Rated 2 out of 5 by from "Free State" not really free TT advertises as free Federal electronic filing with 1 free state electronic filing, but when I got to the point of filing for state, it wouldn't give me the free state electronic filing (maybe there was something about this in the fine print about an income cutoff?) Our household income was near $200k. I also used TT for my retired parents return (who earned almost $80k), and it seemed to go through the free state option, even downloading updated Hawaii state info, but in the end it also wouldn't transmit their state returns for free. Annoying!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I AM IMPRESSED I was skeptical about doing my own taxes considering that I had a 1099-NEC and 2 W-2 forms (I work a lot). Turbotax made the process incredibly easy and I am thoroughly impressed with how turbotax experts were able to maximize my return! I am looking forward to utilizing turbotax for my taxes next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I wouldn't want to go it alone! TurboTax has been great every year. I wouldn't want to go it alone during tax time. So, it is very good to have this fantastic tool to guide me through an otherwise burdensome process. This year, I did find the process not quite as fluid as previous year insofar that corrections at the end were somewhat confusing and difficult to make.
