Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bugs this year I had to hit transmit twice, and some of the form questions were not asked during the interview process. They were caught on the verification checks but there were missing questions on both mine and my daughter's returns.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple Enough No one ever taught me about taxes, and how to file them. But with TurboTax Online, it is simple, and easy enough for a regular person to use. And brief, thorough explanations are always provided.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax waited till the very end to totally fail After working on my taxes for about 9 hours a day for two days in a row, I got to the part of paying my taxes. They were a LOT more than I expected and I was given a choice for the federal taxes to pay by credit card or by debit or by check. After about 2 hours of scrounging up enough money, I was able to pay the Federal with direct debit. Then CT was to give a bit back, so no worries. Then MI and MA I owed a small amount which I now had to pay by credit card because I had zero money left in my bank account. So sorry. CANNOT DO THAT WITH TURBO TAX!!! also, after talking with a live operator, I was told that they could not process my Federal tax which I had done and paid for and also direct debited until I paid the other two states with dircct deposit or check... neither of which I had the funds to do, Their answer was to pay for "TurboTax Live" or something, and then ask them if there was a solution-- but she really did not think there was any alternative to just doing it by hand, forfeiting the funds I had alrady paid to Turbo Tax, and paying the states by credit card online. I cannot believe this happened to me!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is pretty good Seems easy except for importing from financial institutions, which creates confusion where you have the same institutions from the previous year. Also, scanned docs had omissions.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good But Could Use Some Tweeks Most items work fine 199A is a much different story and not answered using TT Home and Business by itself. Additionally, trying to e-file multiple states is expensive through TT. You are better off just using the state systems to file or print and mail. All basic tax filing info works great!
