Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too many questions for a non professional Tedious. It takes you through almost everything but there are questions a non professional can't answer and your on line help isn't too good. Nevertheless I have used it for 9 years now and oprobably will continue to do so.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is a great way to process and file taxes Year after year Turbo Tax is a great way to enter your tax information and subsequently file it on-line, view E-File. If you are unsure of any of your tax data to be entered, then use the complete Walk Through method in order to be asked all the questions. To ensure accuracy, double check each entry before moving on, rather than trying to come back later and review what you just entered. You can still come back, but it's easier to validate your entries the first time. Also, avail your self of the Help screens if you are unclear of certain items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used since 1995, hasn't done me wrong yet My tax situation is a bit complex with real estate, stocks and bonds, etc. Turbo Tax handles it all with aplomb. My father-in-law liked to do his tax the old school way and we decided to compare the results. It took us about four hours with TT as compared to his normal three day slog and TT found him some additional deductions. He's now a believer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo tax is pretty good Haven't had any problems filing for the last 3 years now. They make keeping track of passwords, pins, and agi's easier than any other platform I've used. No one enjoys filing taxes, but they seemingly make it as painless as possible.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glitch with downloading to 2 computers I had downloaded TurboTax to a PC. I bought a new Mac and tried to download TT on their but got an error "This license code has already been associated with an account. Please check that account and look for it in Downloads". I didn't login to TT when I originally downloaded the program on the PC but I logged in to TT as instructed only to get the error message over and over. I finally called the help desk but the agent couldn't help me. She said the system was down so I should try later. A couple of hours later I tried again same problem but I Googled it and found out that this has been an ongoing problem since January 2021. There were several pages of incidents identical to mine with no real solutions. I called the help desk again and was lucky to get a rep that was willing to help. She then had to discuss it with her supervisor for quite some time before she was finally able to reissue a new code. I'm very disappointed that TurboTax didn't offer a solution or update regarding the problem. Or at least inform Support so that they know what to do and not be expected to jump through hoops to get the matter resolved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still excellent but some persistent bugs live on It was easy to do my returns and I have the highest confidence in the quality of my submission. Purchased Audit Defense again - another great product. Issues come from the website - the login process is cryptic and navigation goes WAY beyond weird. In the application this year like last the screen where you enter Doctor, dentist, chripractor and accupuncturist expenses would not allow me to enter any numbers. It displayed "$0" and I could not enter a character, clear the field or anything. VERY annoying. Repetition of rote questions during the login/checkout process shows room for improvement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fumble at the One Yard Line Overall, Turbo Tax is easy to use, after so many years. This year, there was a flaw in the system. It would not allow me to transmit my state and federal returns electronically. I received an error message saying I had the wrong social security number for the Head of Household. I called Customer Support and was helped by a lovely woman named Tracy. She did her best to help me, but confirmed there is a flaw in the system. Now, I have to mail both returns and will be delayed in receiving my refunds.
