Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Experience I had a question about a 401K rollover to an IRA. It appeared to be income due to "a gross distribution" on form 1099-R. Your Live Expert advised that the distribution code of "G" from box 7 guides the TurboTax computations to know that the transaction was a rollover and not taxable. I confirmed that this DID happen. You might consider adding a note to the preparation pages to this effect.
