Rated 4 out of 5 by from Problem with State Return Electronic Refund Using TurboTax for Federal was great, and also entry for my state return was simple, but I ran into a problem. I electronically filed my Federal return but elected to mail my state return to save the $25 fee. TurboTax did NOT ask me for my bank information for my state return (it was provided for my Federal return). As a result, my state is sending me a paper check refund instead of depositing the refund electronically into my bank account. It almost seems that TurboTax is punishing its customers who do not pay their $25 e-filing fee for state returns. I hope that is not the case and request TurboTax to correct its software to allow state paper filers to have refunds electronically deposited to their banks.
