We love this program because of the ease of use, the ability to get answers to our questions in "real-time" and the convenience of doing our taxes that fits our schedule. Another nice feature is being able to talk to a tax expert without the additional cost or headaches.

It was a simple, stress-free process and I would recommend TurboTax Live Full Service Deluxe to anyone who wants their taxes done for them in a professional way!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Didn't Catch Mistakes in 1099-R Form Until the End On the whole, my experience with TurboTax was positive. There was one glitch, though, which should be fixed. There were two errors in my 1099-R form that TurboTax didn't catch until the very end. 1) There were asterisks in my address field that I had to remove. 2) There was no state distribution given in Box 16, which was wrong because state tax was withheld. No 1. was easy to fix. I had to figure out No. 2. I had to go back into the process to find the 1099-R form, figure out what a state distribution was (I used a web search engine to find out) and what I had to do to fix it. I was then able to send the return. It seems to me that TurboTax should have caught all of this much earlier in the process, not when I was just about to file. In the New York State tax, it would help to emphasize that the New York pension exclusion also applies to distributions from inherited IRAs. I was unsure what to enter in the pension box. After consultation with your tax expert, I multiplied what I withdrew by 4 (the number of brothers including myself who inherited the IRA) and entered that figure into the box. But that should be made clear right there. I consulted your tax experts three times, and was pleased each time. They were courteous and knowledgeable and were able to assist me. They returned by calls within a minute. My only criticism is that two of them were a little difficult to understand. They need to work on their pronunciation.
