Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax is great until the end TurboTax makes it super easy to file all your taxes - with built in explanations and ease of use to enter all your information. And then it comes time to pay and file. Then they "fee you" to death. The cost to file federal and state taxes I understand, but then there's a hidden $39 fee to "process" your refund. Seemingly there's no way to avoid that even though their help center says it is an optional fee. They should at least be straightforward and not trick people into thinking that's an optional fee.

The only complaints for me was that all the numbers I entered into the Medical expenses never did show under the 2022 column while others items like real estate tax clearly showed under 2021 and 2022. I have tripled checked and still never seen what I have entered under the year 2022. Though it may not have made a difference because in my case, standard deduction was always to my advantage.
