You kept presenting the prompt that I would be amazed when I indicated that I prefer to type things in myself - it got old after the second prompt. 2. I had trouble finding where to enter my Virginia refund. I do not recall getting prompted to enter this. I had to search for the 1099-G form. Getting the correct place was more difficult than I anticipated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax was Decent In general, my experience was pretty decent. There seems to be a bug with entering an S-Corp carryforward loss. I completed Form 7203, but the allowable carryforward loss did not get entered on Schedule E correctly. If you manually adjust K-1 Box 1 per the loss, the net value gets entered on a single line on Schedule E. However, there should be 2 lines with the second one noted "PYA". In order to do that, I had to create a second K-1 named PYA for the allowable carryforward loss. This was not easy to figure out. There was no guidance within TurboTax and there is no way to contact Support without paying. I didn't need tax advice. I needed technical support for the software. I didn't think I should have to pay for that! Fortunately I figured it out on my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Using Turbo Tax- BEST decision ever! This is my second year using Turbo Tax. I absolutely love how easy they make what used to be an anxious and stressful time of year for me, so much more stress-less. I especially appreciate the very helpful, easy to understand information and tips available throughout the whole tax preparation process down to the submission. The option to choose MAX support just added to my peace of mind. Also enjoyed the applause and celebration at the end- recognizing the length of time I was able to complete my taxes. That was pretty cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of Mind I have always used an accountant because I am a consultant. This year my accountant was not able to do my taxes. The program walked me through all the steps, explained what I didn't understand (which was a great many items), and was gentle in pointing out my errors. Bought the Audit Defense...just in case. Just placed my 2022 taxes in the file cabinet and am off to enjoy life again!!!
