Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynneford Great Refund There are some items that are not as clear as they might be. But overall, quite easy to navigate. I was able to get personal help (without waiting too long) when I needed it. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by AZsongwriter Safely Methodical I have used Turbo Tax for decades and don't see myself EVER doing taxes any other way. The continuity from year to year is quite good so I'm generaly accustomed to what I see. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by ggb7 Tedious, but effectively useful and easy to use. I have used Turbo Tax for 7 years now. It doesn't make doing taxes fun but anyone that keeps adequate records can manage without a great deal of difficulty. Cannot see why any individual or small business owner would pay someone else to do their taxes. March 4, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by sushimom I HATE TAXES I despise doing taxes yet appreciate Turbo tax making it easier. I wish the Feds would make it easier yet and less expensive. I have a graduate degree in math and even with turbo tax hubby knows to keep the wine glass full and keep out of my reach. Think of all the money all of us would save if tax code was simpler and if savings was encouraged. I had to pay a bunch of taxes on money that I did not spend but simply am keeping for a rainy day that I hope never comes. HATE TAXES. Wish TURBOTAX was cheaper but it does what I want March 5, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by ThalBoca Software could be much better It is infuriating that TTax imports information from financial institutions for personal returns but, in Turbo tax Business, does not do so for Trust returns. It is doubly infuriating because there is a lot of discriminatory pricing in Business, which is much more expensive than Premium. I'm stuck with buying it because I need to do a return for a fairly small trust. You eventually get to estimated Tax payments for the following year if you follow step by step, but finding this through Help is very far from transparent. March 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by azrhb Filed with Confidence Combined with Quicken, TurboTax makes it easy to gather all of the information together quickly and reminds you if you have forgotten anything. Nice job... March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by carrieblom Great Refund! Originally had the Deluxe ed. but since I sold Mutual Funds, TurboTax wanted me to purchase the Premier ed. Overall, great product and one that I will continue to use for years to come. February 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nickolaialofa Great Program I have been using Turbo Tax for years now and there is no other program like it! Anyone can do their taxes with Turbo Tax! March 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by RichBL TurboTax 2013 I feel really good that when using TurboTax, my taxes are done right. Even when I had a complicated year due to a death in the family, the added problems with Tax paperwork was covered. That is a great peace of mind. February 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Taxpayer49 I believe the packaging is deceptive. It states Federal and State Returns, but in small print says "plus Federal E-File." Extra $19 to file state return. I think this is poor business. Cost to send state is minimal, just a means to add PROFIT. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Marcia33 Excellent Program Preparing the returns was a snap with the step-by-step instructions. When I tried to e-file, it told me there were updates to the software that were needed before it could e-file. I had downloaded all the updates to no avail. Finally, I went to the community forum and another Mac user had posted the solution. Turbo Tax should either fix this problem, or add the extra steps for Mac users to the instructions. Also, when I printed the returns, it printed over 50 pages, most of them unnecessary. March 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gawk Very good system, but there is not a clear interconnect with the tax forms while you are entering data which makes it difficult to see errors as you go along. March 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by daddystootsie I tried to pay my taxes on line it's taken me over an hour and still not done. Plus it looks like turbo tax or gov. wants to charge me more money to file. no options on pay or mail. February 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by ronp45 Easy to use and complete Product was easy to use and understand. I had to re-characterize part of the roth conversion I did and it was pretty straight forward. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by jhtuck Saved a lot of cash! By doing my own return with Turbo Tax I was able to itemize deductions and get a much larger return than having my tax accountant taking the "standard" deductions. I also saved $350. by doing it myself! March 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by chicagoway Turbo Tax 2013 I was able to gather my 2013 information and sit down with my Turbo Tax 2013 software and generate a return with 100% confidence within one hour. I was able to file electronically and will have the refund deposited directly into my account. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by caltiger straight forward to use Been a premium software user with rental home, stocks, investments and it is very easy to use turbo tax and file taxes your self rather than go to a professional and pay exorbitant fees March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ooogs I love Turbo Tax I love Turbo Tax, it has saved me countless hours. In my case I get many different bonuses as work including various versions of stocks and options. In addition, I have two kids in college who both work and it handles the 529 funds. March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by harbro Overall turbo tax is great. To bad the tax code is so burdensome to our country. I used to do my own taxes which was nightmare. Turbo tax makes it much easier and I can be confident with the result. March 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Aeolus Easy Process Over the years that I have been using Turbo-Tax, the process, the questionnaire, the ability to find explanations have all improved. The only problems I have ever had were as a result of some inaccurate information that I entered, not the software. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rick4040 I t went as expected except that I found out some thing my tax preparers were not telling me so I had to learn them in order to proceed with Turbotax March 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by meadowL Taxes done Easy While my tax situation is not complex TurboTax is great for me. It was easy to us and covered all the details. This software used to be a lot cheaper but it still beats taking it to a tax man. March 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by ncsherry Maximized my refund When I went online to complete taxes, it was not user friendly, but once that version was replaced by your customer service, it was easy to complete my return. March 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by PingZing Not what I expected Although TT said the transfer of 2012 data was successful there was NO data in the 2012 column. I researched FAQs and found others who asked how to do it and I tried every approach on the site but nothing actually worked. Very frustrating. Fortunately, I've used TT for several years and i knew that I just needed to get over the fact that the 2012 data was not going to be there to use as a comparison. I used my hardcopy of 2012 tax return to do any comparisons I needed. This was very time consuming and frustrating but i worked through it. Preparation took me several hours longer than usual just because I did not have the 2012 data electronically. March 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by millenia929 I Have A Headache!! Just a bit of background first please. I am doing my father's taxes. Tried to e-file twice. Rejected both times. According to the IRS code, DOB or DOD not entered. DOB is. TT implies DOB not correct. It is. Called IRS and they can't check or fix my father's information. Cannot e-file the Fed return...period. CA return accepted by the way, so I'm assuming glitch is with IRS. However, please read on. Because of logistics, will not be able to have my father and his wife sign their return until after April 15. So, I went back into the TT program to fill out how to print up an extension-to-file. When I did, the amount shown in the Fed Tax Owed box at the top of the page went to $0.00. Went back, doubled checked, and all the figures are still there, but for some reason it shows he owes no taxes. He does. Maybe an option (link) to file an extension can be provided immediately when a return is rejected. Because, for me at least, it really screwed things up when I followed the directions from TT Help about where to find and print up the extension Form 4868. Unless of course, TT is like the IRS. As the IRS person told me..."You're thinking too simplistically. The system is way too complicated to go in and fix things." I have been using TT for many, many years and truthfully, this is the first time I've had a problem. Again, it appears to be a problem with the IRS that prohibits me from e-filing. But certainly, it's a TT glitch that causes the tax owed box to reset to $0 when going back to print up a single form, after I had already completed the return, printed a copy, and tried to e-file.
