Rated 4 out of 5 by alajoseph was a good help I had to ask many different times the same question about the PFD's my kids recieved and where to put them. Had a hard time figuring it out. April 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Elsie361 No way to get extra fees off without contacting by phone. No way to get information out without agreeing to pay fees and have them refunded after complaining. April 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by DakotaS Terrible I went through TurboTax a month ago, and stopped right before filing as I was waiting on something. Fast forward to tax day and I review my return then eFile it. The next day my dad says his return was rejected because I claimed myself, when I didn't. I even reviewed it before submitting. So now I have to go through the amending process. Better yet, when I went back into TurboTax to amend, my refund said $0 even though it said $500 on TaxDay. So I go find the claim option and sure enough it was unchecked. After I check it it now says I owe almost $1000, which is way off considering I was going to GET $500 or $1500 depending on that checkbox a month ago. I don't know what's going on at TurboTax but i'm not impressed. April 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by FrustratedAndMo Frustrated Followed all the instructions to create a separate return for a VA same review would not take this word - guess what it was- couple. Could not file the return with the state because I could not get rid of two entries on the federal return related to my spouse. Turbo tax needs to get much better at handling these kind of returns. I also really struggle with the health insurance related information. Last year I paid extra tax because I had not figured it out. And I am someone who passed the CPA exam and held a license for many years. I cannot imagine how frustrating this must be for most people. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by tjtiml Appreciate the work greatly guys best easiest year yet - especially with the adoption refund we got! April 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Senger7 Questions and Answers We have use Turbo Tax for many years. This year it seemed to be more confusing. We also found that when our daughter did the taxes on her own and marked that we would not claim her and filed certain information, that when we filed our taxes it was rejected because she had used those school tax forms on her taxes. It was very complicated to correct this and re-submit our taxes. Being that she had used Turbo Tax, it would have been nice to be red-flagged as we put in the information and given the chance to amend her taxes without going through all the trouble. Parents with college kids need to be careful with how the information is put in and it would be nice if it could be edited or done together to avoid these complications. April 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Vince8675309 Solid in past years, getting shaky Mostly good, but I had specific questions about moving expenses and their deductibility. Had to turn to google searches due to TurboTax displaying old and irrelevant information. After e-filing, software told me that I was required to send, via postal mail, a form that was not applicable to my situation. I wasted a lot of time searching for information due to that. Rated 1 out of 5 by Alfie89 Massachusetts State Income Tax 2013 Program refused to recognize non-resident income properly. If you only have income shown on a K-1 from a S-Corporation and never resided in MA. you will not get a true answer to the taxes owed. Abandon the program and do it by hand. April 19, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by missybam Didn't like the fact that the program kept giving me an error when I tried to efile. I have filed with the same information for 8-years. April 19, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by candywhite76 efile drama it rejected multiple times for TIN information that doesn't make sense to me since I'm filing as a single person with no dependents. I also noticed that this was a major issues with multiple people in the "community" seems like a bigger problem then expected. April 19, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by TOYLADY Forms 3800 and 5884-B Your home and business program shouild have carryover form 3800 built in. Also business credit form 5884. I have unused credits that I can carryforward, when I use form 3800 with your program I can't " E-File" my 60 page return!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Lukumbe The service that pays the taxes using a CC# never worked!! It continually declined the CC# even when there was balance available Spoke to the Bank and the service was trying to process it as a Debit card instead of credit card. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by UTAStudent Smooth! It was really easy. I had all the documents so I filled it in and was done! I was dissappointed at the end though because I didn't get a refund even though a friend told me that students get good refunds. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by MN2Bfishing Better than the best accountant I've used Turbo Tax for fifteen years. When friends or colleagues ask "why not use an accountant?" I tell them I wouldn't want to sacrifice the quality of work I get from Turbo Tax...how could an accountant be so up to date or fluent? I appreciate how Turbo Tax not only guides me through the process, but furthermore how it explains the details along the way, helping to educate me on better tax management. April 19, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by nikesyrena 1116 Foriegn Tax Credit is a Poor Effort Certain of Turbo taxes features get worse from year to year. The foreign tax credit is among them. This credit is linked to a Form 1116 and the process is Byzantine to find the link and to keep multiple country entries straight. This is a common credit and it really needs a lot of work to make it even remotely resemble "user friendly". Some of the Limited Partnership entries are similarly obtuse. Also, you can't e file in NJ w/o a NJ 1099R which is a form that does not exist, and Turbo Tax wont let you make one. For a product that generates this much revenue it ought to be able to handle these long time issues much better than it does. April 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1099andW2guy Used for Years Excellent product. Used since the DOS days. Great results and a great tool for running scenarios for future planning. April 19, 2014
