Rated 2 out of 5 by from TurboTax missing Opportunity I really think TurboTax needs to be able to handle 8997 and opportunity zones. The manual process is bad for both the IRS and myself. I know I am not the only one wishing this was supported base online complaints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still using it despite some issues Mostly a good experience. However, error checking can be very confusing and explanations are not that helpful. I am still having issues with dividends that are partially tax exempt in my state. Need to manually enter because numbers do not carry over properly even when I follow the directions. And my number one complaint is that pages cannot be printed from the step-by-step process. They can be flagged, but not printed. Why can't you fix this?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Turbo tax errors are difficult to understand I encountered 4 errors during review that were difficult to understand and unclear how to fix. I guessed at the fixes so I could get by the errors and file my taxes. Particularly annoying was finding out how to put my new IP PIN into Turbo Tax. I had to get the details from google, as the TT website was pretty useless. I will probably use a different product next year. Also, don't buy the product early, as eventually discounts are offered. I missed out on saving with $30 discount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Use It Every Year I keep using TurboTax every year. I am accustomed to it, and I like the way it works. I have one major complaint, however. Since I also file state taxes, why doesn't TurboTax include "free" e-filing of state taxes in the cost of the software? It seems like it would be just as easy as including "free" e-filing of Federal taxes. This seems like a major flaw to me, and every year it causes me frustration.
