Not only is TurboTax good for filing your taxes, they are also partnered with QuickBooks that can keep up with your expenses and write offs all year long! Rated 2 out of 5 by from Need More Product Options at the end Toward the end of my filing, I was given the option for TurboTax Premium (with Max as add-on) and was charged over $200 for the service to file. I was not given an option to downgrade, only upgrade. I was told that I can start free as I go along. Once charged, I decided to view the terms for the free option. Upon seeing that I still qualify even with a 1099-Div (no complexities, very simple) I decided to reach out to customer service to verify this. I also tried to click the 'Clear and Start Over' option which told me 'Once you register your tax return, or pay any TurboTax fees, we can no longer clear and start over.' so I was unable to go back nor get a refund. I contacted Customer Support once again and did a screenshare with them to see if they can help me on their end. While I must admit that filing with TurboTax (the input of information) itself can be a simple and straight-forward essential product to use. The questionnaire in the beginning can be confusing to select a proper product option, the option to generate or request a refund is lengthy, and the limited product option at the end (asking only to upgrade) can be confusing feel quite unfair. These small issues cause additional stress upon a customer. I myself have been online almost 3 hours more than I expected to be after filing because of just trying to resolve and clarify these issues. Other than this, if these things had not taken so much of my day and time and other appointments I had, the TurboTax product would have my 5-star rating for sure. I am awaiting the review of the Refund Request Form I submitted, in hopes that all this time spent trying to resolve the issue was truly worth it in view that I do get a refund. Once, all this is resolved, I can definitely update my review.

I also appreciated all of the information along the way to help me better understand each category. Thank you TurboTax
