Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbox Tax Review I really enjoyed doing my taxes here because it helped me to find tax credits that other tax places don't offer. Turbo Tax is very delicate with information and I love the way they have a tax expert on hold waiting. Great jobs guys.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mostly good, not perfect Mostly it is convenient to use TurboTax. And, for the most part, it is even more convenient in subsequent years because TT remembers some info from prior years. I recommend TT if you generally know what you are doing and your taxes are not incredibly complicated. Problems: Sometimes there are questions that are unclear, and you have to do research yourself to undestand what is being asked. And sometimes, the product or questions are inaccurate. For example, I live in Florida and there is no State income tax, yet this year (as in prior years) TurboTax asked me if I want to file a Florida state tax return. Why? Also, I had to file a 1040X last year and I did it through TT because I did the 1040 through TT. There was some glitch in TT such that, long story short, I had to technically input a certain 1040X line wrong in order to get the right result. Also, this year, TT asked for last year's AGI from the 1040X in order for me to e-file, but the 1040X line that TT asked me about was blank. So, after calling the help line (I am grateful TT offered that), I used the AGI from the 1040, instead. I'm not giving you all the details because that would take a long time to explain, but the point is, TT is convenient, and it even provides extra answers to some of its unclear questions by hitting the "search" or "help" icons, but at the same time, it is not as easy or accurate as I would like it to be. But, I do recommend it for those who basically know what they are doing, and I will continue using it unless my taxes get really complicated.

When I first started doing my taxes online, I went through a website that was actually fraud/spam and from there I have always used Turbo Tax and have never had any problems! Such an amazing free service to have for people.
