Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doubled my declared income on the final step On the final step (just before filing) the automated "Review" duplicated my W-2, doubling my declared income. If I hadn't reverted to the very first step and removed it, TurboTax would have happily sent along my forms - dooming me to lose thousands of dollars to taxes I don't owe. I'm disgusted with the idea that people have to pay to use a *service* that might 'automagically' flip their lives upside-down.

This year, instructions and questions on several elements of HSAs were very poorly written. Also, had issues w the way the program displayed needed edits on 1099-B forms. Here again, instructions were vague, UX didn't show what was needed so confusing and had to re-do several times to feel confident it was done correctly.

I just did not want to do my taxes, it was the last day of February and as a rule I set for myself I always have taxes done no later than the end of February. I procastinated until 6:00PM getting started but the process went pretty quick between filing the last few years with turbo and the option with a call from a tax expert. Just Awesome as usual!!
