Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst year after almost 8 years using this service This was my worst experience with TurboTax in almost 8 years. I mistakenly selected the "live" version and wasn't able to go back to the baseline version without starting from scratch - which I didn't want to do. In other years, TurboTax was able to import my entire W2 as well as various other forms, this year, most of those didn't work so I had to enter most of the information manually. So, not only did I have to do more work myself but I had to pay more for a worse service. I've been a loyal TT client and have seen improvements over the years, this year you definitely went backwards with client experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax is the best I've been using Turbo Tax for 6 years now, and I absolutely love how simply everything is laid out and explained. And the addition of "ask an expert" has help out tremendously. I would(and have) recommend Turbo Tax to everyone.

My residency in one state and working part of the year in another required me to acually pay attention and read everything twiceI got use to the same old way that the new way was an adjustment. Must say I am happy with the results. Thank youmTurbo Tax for all the years of easy tax prep..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is not helpful Turbo tax made doing taxes very difficult. I used a new computer and none of the information transferred. I use H & R Block for my children and they automatically gather their information, no matter what device I use. I will be trying them next year. And they charged me twice for Turbo tax.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy but Be Cautious It is very easy to navigate and use. The web version on a computer is easier to use but the app on mobile devices is also good to use. Bigger screens just make it easier to see and understand. Taking pictures of documents and transferring to the forms performed well on pulling info from individual boxes but double-check EVERYTHING before submitting. I had multiple mistakes on the name and address fields for every W-2 and other forms. Despite this, the software is easy to use and I plan to keep using it in the future.
