Rated 2 out of 5 by from Costs changed within 24 hours. Less intuitive. The cost of the deluxe edition is originally $60. When I began my returns yesterday, it was reduced to $40. When I completed my returns today, the discount was gone. Even if this is due to my having reached the end of a promotion, I think it's lousy to offer that to someone when they start filing, and then withdraw it when they complete their return(s) 24 hours later. And you know the likelihood of my scrapping all the time and effort I invested in that was slim to none, so I'm sure you feel quite comfortable in your gamble that someone like me will agree to the $20 increase. Guess what. You're right. I paid it. You've also inspired me to look elsewhere for another tax service next year. I also want to add that your software made the process very opaque and unintuitive for me when it came to ensuring that my resident state recognized and took into account the state taxes I paid in my non-resident state. This was very difficult to resolve, and the features were more embedded than they should have been. There should be a mechanism that prompts the user immediately to ensure that all state taxes have been accounted for accurately. Due to one very embedded clerical error of mine, it took me hours to figure our why my nonresident state was charging me $700 in state tax when I had already paid them $1000. My guess is that this whole process would have been more seamless and intuitive if it were part of one of the costlier packages. Suffice it so say, I resolved the issue with no support from you.
