I think the question should be asked before processing and asking all kind of questions and then have to decline after the Fact. my State taxes can be processed for free on line. Turbo was great, as you can go back if you need to make corrections.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from turbo tax is very useful. I was told my return was not e-mailed. Then I was told that it was e-mailed. I don't know which it was and have to wait to find out. Also, if I paid for the software, I am not sur why I have to pay to e-file my state return. Especially since I was not told I would have to. Seems like a duplicate charge to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax can be better! Filing with Turbo Tax was straight forward considering I have used it for 7 years now. This year was the first time I had to report capital gains/losses. I had a lot of trouble getting Turbo Tax to connect properly with several financial institutions I used this year. I had to go through a couple Third Party services to import my transactions and data. I believe with the growing demand in Defi and Blockchain technology that Turbo Tax should continue to improve the needs of its users by providing more robust and capable means to accurately report their data. Many like myself had to rely on other services that can charge hundreds and even over $1k to import their data to file. Hopefully next year Turbo Tax can be the main and only entity I use to accurately import investment transactions.
