Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very buggy product this year Have been using TurboTax for 10+ years and in the past, it functioned great. The 2022 TurboTax Deluxe gave us a ton of errors when adding income via a 1099-NEC. And the error messages were very difficult to understand and resolve. It added hours to a simple return. We had to clear these errors or the returns couldn't be submitted. We couldn't get a hold of product support.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Full Service Costs Way Too Much My experience with my tax preparer was fine. But the cost of this service is very overpriced. Charging solopreneurs an extreme amount, although they are just starting and don't make a lot of income yet, is ridiculous.

They did fine but it was so much more expensive and I felt like I didn't really know what they were doing (not that I thought anything bad was happening, just felt out of control). Turbo Tax is easy to use and very helpful. Definitely prefer it.
