Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's never just $0. If you're 16 at your first job great, TurboTax is free for you. Despite still being an uncomplicated return, the rest of us will file on TurboTax and within 24 hours get a service code that would've actually made the program reasonable. Interesting how they only send promo code emails prior to W2 deadlines as if companies would actually send them out a millisecond earlier than they have to. This is my last year with TurboTax. I'm doing all the work essentially anyways. The one benefit is auto populating old information, but at this point I'd rather pay more to an actual human.
