Rated 5 out of 5 by from TurboTax Love for 15 Years I tell literally everyone who talks about their taxes to me to use TurboTax, walks me through every step of the process. It explains things that may seem ambiguous on the tax forms in good detail & keeps the process moving. I was Super nervous about filing my taxes this year because I switched my family business from my mom's name into my own but there was a step by step how to for the new business format that was easy to follow. Thanks TurboTax!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for most basic of taxes This year I had a 1099 MISC. It was very difficult to find where this 1099 information went. I wound up calling a CPA because the options given on Turbo Tax did not match what I needed and was confusing. Charging 30.00 more just to put a 1099 one line information was way too much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good compared to local tax preparer I moved to a different state in 2021. So after 10 years of using TurboTax, I thought maybe a local tax preparer would know more about the state tax situation. I guess I was totally incorrect. This year, I came back to TurboTax, and found out that, due to me being on disability, I don't owe any state taxes. Last year, apparently the local tax preparer didn't know disability income could not be taxed, so I ended up paying in a whole lot more than what I saved by using TurboTax again this year. I learned my lesson, and will now have to go back and refile last year's state taxes to attempt to get my $ back that I shouldn't have paid in (rolling eyes). Thank you very much, TurboTax, for saving me 100s of dollars this year, and hopefully allowing me to get back money I shouldn't have had to pay last year! P.s. - I also had to speak with TurboTax Customer Support staff on a couple occasions to verify I hadn't done anything incorrectly in entering my information, and the support staff was extremely helpful, especially in verifying that I had not done anything wrong, since my numbers were so different this year, than last.
