Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was switched to work sheets to enter info myself I Could not summit tax form and found a red entry on Charity Deductions work sheet. I had entered charity contrib. individually on deductions page to determine which was best and standard deduction was used. I did not know couples could also deduct $600 charity contributions w/standard ded. $300 had been entered by Turbo-Tax but I had no idea what the problem was until I checked on-line. $600 charity deds. should have been automatically entered when the std. ded. was selected by TTax. It saved me $35 in taxes. When entering income, I preliminarily entered $0 as the amount on two items. When I came back to correct them, hitting "Edit" took me to blank pages on both items-over and over again! I called a TT agent and we had not figured it out yet when we were disconnected. He did not return my call even tho he had my tele. #. He had had me go directly to the 1040 form and try to enter it there, which did not work. After disconnecting, I was able to go directly to the income work sheet to enter, which did work. Checking on my 2020 Turbo Tax, it enabled you to edit on the questioning site even when $0 was entered, unlike the 2021 version. Much easier and needs to be corrected.
