Rated 2 out of 5 by from very subpar this year I got through 99% of my return, on my own, with no issues. Then TurboTax comes up with an error "Item Q line 2 cannot be blank. if 0 enter that" I have no idea what that means, after doing some research on Google I cant find a dependable answer. So I bite the bullet and pay the upcharge to "Chat with an Expert" I then explain the problem to him AND HE COPY AND PASTES THE TOP ANSWER FROM A FORUM ON GOOGLE. Which was to enter my car registration fee. I then share my screen with him and after a short pause he says that he'll connect me with a tax expert. WHAT WAS HE THEN??? I then start chatting with a lady who has no idea how to share a screen, but she recommends entering my state refund from last year. Which sounded like a guess at best, considering 2 tax experts have told me to different things and she couldn't see what I was looking at. I proceed with her advice and get 2 more errors. At this point I give up and schedule a phone consultation with a third expert. Once my appointment arrives, almost a week later, the errors are gone and Yuan the live stream agent essentially watches me pay TurboTax over $200 so I can get no help from 3 different "experts" If I get Audited I'm 100% blaming this site and will have screenshots to prove it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Friendly UI and support The UI was easy on the eyes, not too many distractions. The layout was simple and to the point. They walk you through the whole process. The support staff was knowledgeable and friendly. In terms of looking/finding your settings was a bit hard for me.

I called the help line to ask a question, the person who answered didn't understand, put me on hold, then dropped the call. Not much help there.
