Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good first time experience with Turbotax This was the first time I'd used Turbotax..after retiring and discovering that my return was going to be a lot easier than before. For many years I used a tax attorney. It took some time, because it was my first time to enter basic info, etc. and there were some technical issues..mainly on my part. But...I was impressed with the completeness and detail provided by the program. And my refund was a LOT larger than i thought it was going to be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Use Caution on "Free" This is the third year I used Turbo Tax. It is very easy to use. However, the emails that they sent me didn't reference that a free e-file is available for a simple return. I had social security and unemployment only and ended up paying $41 ($39 plus tax) Unfortunately, I googled Turbo Tax after I input my credit card info and couldn't find a way to reverse it. Lesson learned. I appreciate it was easy to use but I feel duped and probably won't use it again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This years format to file was awful! More scrolling, more pages, repetitive reviews, Took me over twice as long as usual to complete forms. Did not give you an option to skip state tax process (if you are filing separately or by mail), so I had to go through all those pages too. What a waste of time Go back to a previous formal!!
