Rated 5 out of 5 by from TURBO TAX GETS BETTER EVERY YEAR Gets better every year. State and Federal. Separate software for Estates are found under another Package labled "Business". It works well for that but you can't download from Broker or Bank. A bit expensive as the content for Trusts is a lot less than the other Software in the same package.

I was a tad nervous because the free file was so easy to use, I didn't want to use anything else. But the basic version was just as easy and did both my own and my son's taxes in just a few hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very helpful Turbo Tax is relatively easy to use. This is my 5th year using it. I like the auto downloading of financial information from my financial investment company. However, this year the tax deferred interest on state dividends did not download automatically. I had to go over multiple funds that contained dividends from almost all 50 states, compile that info, and manually enter it. It was very tedious. I called for help and the person I spoke to was good and very helpful to resolve why my manually entered info was not saving when I exited the program. Overall it's a good program but as I get older it's becoming more difficult to understand some of the more complex tax requirements, so I may have to consider hiring someone in the future.
