Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love TurboTax - Discounts are misleading..... I Love how user-friendly TurboTax is. I was hoping to get away with the FREE version this year, but to get literally one deduction; I had to upgrade to the Deluxe. I downloaded the coupon for $20 off, but it only took $10 off. The 'help desk' said the coupon was for 'Up To' $20 off, but I read the coupon multiple times. There were no words 'UP TO' on there. Anyway, I was happy that I got a discount and finished the Federal, State, and City within 3 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Convenient and Self Explanatory I was nervous about going back to doing my own taxes since they have became more complex over the years. But turbo tax made it a breeze. And with the option of adding MAX, I feel protected in the case of a random audit which is my biggest fear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sneaky addon tactics I appreciate the service. But since I've been a customer for 8 years, I've seen how the experience has changed. Every year, no matter how closely I watch, there is a new trick that results in some charge I never wanted being added on to my order by the end. Then I have to go back and deselect it. I have incredibly easy returns, but still end up with over $100 in required fees by the end. If I didn't finish them in 20 minutes, I would say the service is far from worth it. But in my opinion, it is barely worth it. I can't image how many add-on charges you end up with when you have more complex taxes.

I was really nervous about it because I know you can get in trouble for filing incorrectly, but turbo tax did literally all of the work. I just had to enter some info. I also seriously appreciate them not asking for any money in return- that’s very rare these days!
