Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tired and frustrated I tried to use a different product 3 times and each time I was placed in the higher charged product. I tried to get help live and chat without the right outcome, always changed back to the expensive product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cannot bet help and format not always User Friendl it gets a little better every year. At least this year I didn’t get the wrong form. Really they just need to give us the same tax form is the year before with blank boxes for this year and the comparative boxes from last year. This year it was just question and answers but when you called anyone or went through chat, you couldn’t get help. I waited so long and chat and then when someone came on they couldn’t get the live screen on for me. So then I tried phone calls 34 times and the first call it went right to voice box and the phone was in my hand, and it didn’t ring. Finally, three hours later I got a call and while I was talking to that person and then two other calls were coming in. I just find the whole thing discouraging and I would pay for their turbo max if someone would get on line and stay with me till the whole thing was filled out. I couldn’t get anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still had to pay, but cheaper than paying someone Had to take standard deduction, make to much to get refund. Would like to see that "extra" money in my accounts. Turbo tax is super easy and cheaper than paying someone to tell me the same thing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ITs okay for the most part The thing that was deceptive was that first of all I was not given an option to use their free version. For some reason it doesn't apply for me! Secondly, it doesn't tell you beforehand that if you select to pay turbo fee with your tax return, there is an additional cost. Why is there even a cost for this ? Then since you get the hang of click next you obviously don't read properly. Also, it difficult to find what step you do that payment while going back.
