Rated 4 out of 5 by from The TurboTax program needs to be more informative When I tried to download my 1099-B and 1099-R forms from my investment company, the program told me to enter my investment account LoginID and Password, which I did. But I kept on receiving an error message telling me that the TurboTax program did not recognize my Login or Password. So, I called my investment company and received the help I needed to download my documents. What I was told is the TurboTax program does not recognize a LoginID or Password that exceeds 19 characters or special characters like $ or % or #. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THE ERROR MESSAGE INCLUDED THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION ABOUT LOGINS AND/OR PASSWORDS, SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO "BLOW A GASKET" TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. YOU NEED TO DO A BETTER JOB OF INFORMATION SHARING TO AVOID CONFUSION.
