Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was so simple At first I thought I was going to have a really rough time because my former husband passed away this year and I thought that would complicate this whole process. Once I got all of his paperwork it was as easy to do taxes as any other year. I've been doing my own taxes since I was 18 and I'm now 35. I've used TurboTax more than any other tax platform and it has gotten easier and easier every year. I'm so grateful for all the standard deduction options as they made the entire process smooth and non-eventful. I'll likely use TurboTax every year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbotax is easy to use. Using Turbotax is not complicated, but I did not like getting a big bill at the end. I would have liked to know the price upfront. In past years I have used Deluxe but this year I had to use premier even though my returns were essentially the same. Disappointed by the switch.

In the past it has been handy to have one place to have all of my same returns, remind me of past year entries and more easily follow along with the refunds compared to previous years. I decided to take a $6 stock loss this year to reinvest some money elsewhere. Turbotax allowed me to enter this selection and baited me through the entire filing process before notifying me I would need to upgrade and spend another $30 to file because of that sale. I tried to remove the entry so I wouldn't have to upgrade and it forced me to do the upgrade to even remove the entry. I was then informed that I cannot downgrade the product unless I completely delete and recreate the entire return! This if part of the income section, I could have been informed of this problem in the beginning but they baited me into spending my time doing the entire return before forcing me to upgrade.
