Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax is kind of misleading Turbo Tax showed $0 to file state and federal with a simple return. I did a simple return. I get all the way to the end and both state and federal were $38. I figured even thought I was told it would be free, that price still wasn't too bad. This was on 2/28. I went in yesterday (3/1) to pay and each one had jumped to $58 each!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from QUICK AND EASY It took me less than 54 minutes to go through all the deductions and to find the best fit for our tax return. It was easy to go through and I am happy with the results.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sierra is amazing! TurboTax is so simple and easy, until it's not. Everything was going perfectly until the exact moment of actually filing our taxes. Then we got stuck in this endless loop of "Would you like to e-file?" --> "Sorry, your forms are wrong. Mail-in only." --> "Why are you mailing your taxes?! E-file is so much easier!" --> "Sorry, you can't e-file." We tried connecting to a representative for help, but it took two days of dealing with automated robot voices offering asinine suggestions copied directly from the User Forum. Really??? Amateur customer forums is where you source your troubleshooting options?!? Anyway, we finally connected to a real person, which is why I'm writing this review. Sierra was an ANGEL! She was clear and concise, as well as kind and personable! She diagnosed the glitch in the system, helped us file, and had us laughing the whole way all within 30 minutes. She's a gem. TurboTax, find her and reward her amazing work!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from experts are not expert or helpful last year was my first owning a rental property. The expert did not tell me to take depreciation. The software does not have an intuitive location to enter it. I paid too much last year. My service with Turbo tax was poor. The expert helping me this year said it was my fault.
