Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only one confusing issue with Georgia return... I have used Turbo taxes for many years. This year I only had one issue which was confusing. In Georgia they don't tax your income up to a certain amount. Instead of stating "Social Security", the verbiage stated "Social Security/Railroad Benefits" which was already confusing. In addition, after entering or not entering amount, the title was only "Railroad Benefits". If your don't read the "learn more", you think you are doing it wrong. I had to call for help to make sure I got it right. Please consider either separating this question or changing the wording so that people who do not have railroad benefits don't miss out on getting this credit from state of Georgia and end up paying.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from some problems I bought a Premir CD version from Amazon, but somehow it did not install properly and was directed to the online site. When I realized, I called TT and a staff tried to help me. However, after more than 2 hours, it couldn't be corrected. Since it was past the deadline, I couldn't get a refund from Amazon. The online version was much more expnsive than what I paid to Amazon. I also had some issue with the way TT communicated some items. Specifically, the summary of interest income included taxable, tax-exempt, and bond premium, but there was no explanation of it. I went back and forth adding the interest income, which, of course, did not match with the total amount given. I tried to get some help, but could not. I wish there were better communication route.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I did it, but it wasn't easy Took me about 5 hours to enter my return. I do file a schedule C, and some financial investment info, mortgage, but we took standard deduction so nothing especially complicated. Turbo Tax would not net my return with our Fed refund, I kept receiving an error. So I had to pay up front. Upon paying, the system would not take the credit card. So customer service rep, Dwight who was great (my fifth time calling), said to use 123 Main st. for the address, and that worked. LOL. What the heck? Fix your payment system Turbo Tax and refund payment deduction. All in, I spent 133 minutes on the phone with customer service. And the automatic phone system is pure torture. I am not looking forward to the future of robots.
