I have paid for two other and now my own and can not e-file, but turbo tax took my money to file each state, and you can not get it back, so I am at least $80.00 in the hole. Plus postage and now next year I will have the same issue, so in short NO MORE TURBO TAX for me!!!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax didn’t live up to the agreement I paid for max benefits last year. I was audited last year and TurboTax didn’t help me at all. I really deserve a free of charge service this year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 2020 - awful for self employed I paid almost $200 (more than a quarter of my return) to fill out my taxes myself and download the completed forms since they cannot e-file one of the new self-employed documents this year. My boyfriend paid the same to have his much more complex taxes completely prepared for him by another company last year. He did not fill out anything and only handed over documents. I've been happy using Turbo Tax in the past, but having to pay so much for so little help this year really sucked. If you can't e-file, you should 1) be told that's the case before filling out all of your information and 2) be given a big discount because it is not nearly as much of a convenient/time-saving service. Website also said PayPal users get $20 off. Not true.
