Rated 2 out of 5 by from Federal GOk, SC State support is Garbage The Federal part works pretty well. It has a few minor bugs, like insisting that an amount be in the charitable contribution, and repeatedly adding a number after I correct it. However, I paid $55 for the SC return to find out I can't eFile it. The fact that I cannot eFile is not Intuit's fault, but they could at least have the program prepare a packet to mail for it. When I printed "forms to mail" all I got was a single page saying that I did not have to mail anything because the Federal was efiled. I have to search through the packet for records and make a guess as to what has to be filed with SC!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another year in the books The program has been helpful in doing my returns over the last 15 years. This year the State Filing Program locked up and spend over an hour to fix it. I had to wait another hour and It self repaired on its own

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turbo Tax 2nd payment I would give Turbo Tax a 5 star if I didn't have to pay for my state return again when I purchased the CD to e-file federal and e-file state. Now I need to call to get a refund for the amount of money I had to pay to submit my federal and state returns.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No worry tax returns for years! (Knock on wood) So when my laptop crashed with all my past years' tax returns lost, I downloaded them all again from the TT site. When it is time to do a new return, I have little info to transfer because so much is the same for the year before OR they have access to it already. The amount I pay to TT each year is considerable (for me) but worth it because it includes 2 states and multiple streams of income. To do it alone would be yucky because I have done it alone many times...and with other tax professionals of varying ability. I like TT as my consistent tax professional because it doesn't mind if I visit at 2am in my fuzzy slippers and robe. Well worth it (knock on wood, again)!!
