Even after using Turbo Tax, I doubted my abilities to file taxes to my greatest advantage, so I submitted my documents to a local CPA. To my surprise, at the cost of $475, he came up with the same exact figure I had when using Turbo Tax. After that, I have been sold and have been using Turbo Tax for the past 9 years. It's a user-friendly product that walks you through everything step by step. If I have questions, I simply sign in to the help center where every question and examples you can imagine are there to explore. If you have a question that is not already covered, there is a place to ask a customized question.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Repeatedly Pushing Rejected Upgrades Tax prep went fairly rapidly, except for the detours intended to push us to pay extra money for their MAX upgrade which I rejected multiple times. NO means NO and I should not have to keep dodging the same up-sell.
