Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unnecessarily Spendy But It Does The Job Turbo Tax tries to get you to spend the maximum amount of money on their "services" as possible.. I paid for Deluxe so that I could get help from customer service when I came across a Turbo Tax question that needed better phrasing to be clear. Turns out the live chat support on their website wasn't available to me even though I was paying extra for it. But I persisted and called and called the phone number for Turbo Tax... selecting various options and insisting that a "live representative" was the reason for my call until after a medium hold time I got someone to answer my very simple question that was in no way personally related to me, but was simply about Turbo Tax wording.
