Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long-Time User . . . Do I Stay or Do I Go Now? TurboTax makes doing taxes easy . . . been a reliable customer for going on many years now - since 2006. All my data and history are right there ready to transfer. I only have two issues, which I have called and complained about, but they are still not resolved: 1) During the final error check for the state returns, TurboTax always gives me an error to correct, wanting me to put in my state exemption and state deductible ~ and these two areas are absolutely not covered at all while working on the state forms. This is always the first time I'm seeing it, and there's no way to go back and work on it other than entering some number during this error check correction (I typically have to go to my states' websites for their department of revenue to figure this out) 2) I make quarterly estimated payments to one of my states; however, the place where you enter quarterly estimated payments is when working on the federal return. It should be entered when working on the state returns. This, too, is confounding. Should I stay or should I go, now? I would love to stay, but I want these issues resolved, too. It would be a pain to move on to something else. Hard hard should this be? LannyBoy66

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's not perfect I could see line 30 of the 1040 asked for the stimulus payment but there was not way I could get to the place within the questions to enter an amount. I looked in the online forum, back through every question like I was doing it all over and nothing popped up. Someone said to look at the Federal Review and it would show but there was nothing.

This year, however, I found the application of mortgage interest and real estate taxes on the Home Office form very confusing if you take the Standard Deduction. It double counted my R.E Taxes on the state, but luckily I caught it.
