Rated 2 out of 5 by from not well suited for more involved returns Had a 1031 transaction (like-kind exchange) in 2021 - assumed that data entry and flow of data was easy to follow for selling old property and acquiring new one, but system didn't recognize data input (perhaps I was unable to follow directions) and there was not much help from customer service- tried to utilize customer service and that wasn't helpful, had to figure out the key parts myself - spent over 2 hrs on the phone with customer service to walk me through process, agreed on follow-up call a week after initial call which was never received. After talking to customer service, actually received an email from customer service apologizing for "poor TurboTax support experience". I used TurboTax for many, many years in the past, usually only W-2s and some minor investment activities and that worked out ok but 2021 return was a real nightmare.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Turbo tax failed Turbo Tax could not file our 2020 return because it did not have updated return due dates. we had to call to get access even to print and mail. Now it won't let us e-file our 2021 return because it thinks we didn't file 2020.

This year [2021] this version kept taking me back to something that did NOT have anything to do with me, and INSISTED I input some info I did not have, and it did thie SEVERAL TIMES, I filed 'Single', NO Dependants', and it kept taking me to the Child and Dependant settings, SEVERAL TMES!. Another problem it would NOT ALLOW ME TO ENTER ONE TAX FORM I RECEIVED, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED TO ENTER IT- 1099K!!!
