Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor software too many errors and unable to download state files. even went with their ttstate cleaner, followed all instructions, even went as far as to change my msconfig file. too many issues trying to resolve for a high priced product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too many frustrating questions Too many frustrating questions to answer to get the number I already know need to be on the forms to appear on the forms. Multiple customer service reps and tax experts could not help. Took 5x longer to do my taxes than paper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If you have complicated taxes, TurboTax isnt best We used TurboTax Self Employed and it didn't account for every situation. There were a number of areas where we couldn't enter information we had and/or the questions were unclear or misleading. We wasted a ton of time due to this and other glitches (software taking us in circles without explaining what was missing). Called customer service, they were no help. Much more interested in transferring the call or upselling you. We finally got through it thanks to hours of Google searching for answers to our questions. Another disturbing discovery was that all of our past years 1040's TurboTax stored had incorrect numbers on them. We brought this to their attention, still weren't super helpful. After this experience I wouldn't really trust TurboTax unless the taxes are simple.
