Rated 4 out of 5 by from My experience using Turbo Tax It wasn't a great experience because the number at the top kept going up :( but I guess that is not Turbo Tax fault is it? Over all it was a lot of help getting my taxes done. The only real problem was I went through Fidelity's link to them to get the $20.00. discount they promised. It was not deducted from the payment so I am unhappy about that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Helpful tool; annoying "upgrades" While the tax calculation and submission tools are thorough, the step-by-step processing can be unclear (e.g., after completing a section, the checklist says "Review", it is unclear if that means it needs to be reviewed, or that it is complete, but you may review it if you wish. Also, the frequent solicitations to upgrade are annoying, and potentially costly. I opted into an upgrade, then asked that it be removed, but it was apparently too late to do so; I paid $70 extra for one phone call to answer two incidental questions; one of which was "Can I direct my two refunds to different banks?" to which I was given the wrong answer: "Yes, you can".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New experience I have used TT on Windows for years. This is the first time on Mac. Some of the figures display incorrectly, but come out correct in the end (I compared to a Windows version to check). All in all it is the same good and easy program as ever. Will use again next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Software Overall a good program. I kept getting a dialog box to fill in a payment amount on form 8812. I never received an amount like this and do not have any children living with us. It didn't make sense so I ignored it. I do not have a form 8812 in my tax return.
